LatinAgenda.com respects your privacy. This policy explains which personal data we collect, why, and what your rights are under the GDPR (AVG).

1. Controller

LatinAgenda.com is responsible for processing your personal data. You can reach us through the details on our contact page.

2. Data we collect

Account: name, email address, preferred language and password (stored encrypted).

Events and schools: the details you submit, such as organiser name, contact email, flyers and school information.

Trial lesson requests: name, email, phone number (optional) and your message, shared with the dance school you contact.

Newsletter: your email address and city or language preference.

Technical data: anonymous visit statistics to improve the website.

3. Why we use it

To run your account, publish and moderate listings, pass trial lesson requests to schools, send the newsletter you signed up for, and keep the website safe. We only use your data when we have a legal basis: your consent, an agreement with you, or our legitimate interest.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with dance schools you contact, and with service providers who help us run the website (hosting, database and email sending). They may only use it on our behalf.

5. How long we keep it

We keep account data as long as your account exists. Trial requests are kept up to 2 years. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time with the link in every email.

6. Cookies

We use functional cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your language. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising without your permission.

7. Security

We protect your data with encryption, access rules and secure servers. Only authorised staff can see personal data.

8. Your rights

You may view, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or ask for a copy. Email us and we will reply within 4 weeks. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
